Expedition Overview

Kick off the 4x4 season with our iconic Serbian Spring Expedition! This 7-day hotel-based overland journey takes you through the lush, waking landscapes of Western Serbia — from the pine-covered peaks of Mt. Tara to the breathtaking meanders of the Uvac Canyon.

Because early spring in the high mountains can still bring unpredictable weather — from mud and rain to late mountain snow patches — this tour combines exciting off-road driving during the day with first-class hotel comfort and warm Serbian hospitality every evening.

What to Expect on the Track

• Terrain Variety: A perfect mix of forest dirt tracks, muddy clay passages, rocky limestone climbs, and fast grassland ridge routes.
• Hotel Comfort: 7 nights in comfortable hotels with private bathrooms and rich local half-board dining (breakfast & dinner included).
• Scenic Highlights: Breathtaking vistas of Tara National Park, Drina River Canyon, Mokra Gora, and the natural reserve of Uvac.

Vehicle Requirements & Preparation

This expedition is rated Moderate (1-5/10), making it accessible for standard off-road vehicles with basic modifications:

1. 4x4 with Low-Range Transfer Case (Reduktor): Required for steep ascents and muddy forest tracks.
2. All-Terrain (A/T) or Mud-Terrain (M/T) Tyres: Good condition A/T tyres are the minimum requirement; M/T tyres recommended if wet spring conditions hit.
3. Recovery Points: Front and rear tow points must be operational.
4. CB / VHF Radio: Provided on loan by us for convoy communication.
